A study conducted by EY-Parthenon shows that Philip Morris International (PMI) has invested 43.4 billion euros in the European Union between 2019-2023, supporting 1 million jobs and contributing to the 'Made in EU' ecosystem. The investments included 19.6 billion euros in suppliers, 625 million euros in tobacco purchases, and 2.3 billion euros in research and development. PMI aims for a smoke-free future, with 40% of global revenues from smoke-free products, and calls for a favorable regulatory framework in the EU to encourage investments and innovation.
