In 2024, Oradea Penitentiary had an average monthly number of 164 inmates working, representing 47% of those able to work. The income generated from productive activities amounted to RON 2,829,407, reaching 97% of the annual plan. Detainees make products for various companies, and for the work they do, they receive 40% of the fee received, with 90% available for spending while in detention.
