Brent oil prices fell 1.03% to $68.50 a barrel and WTI oil fell 1.6% to $66.11 a barrel. Deteriorating trade negotiations between the US and the EU, with threats of 30% tariffs imposed by Trump, amplified fears of an economic slowdown. Diesel prices, essential for industries, also fell by more than 3%, reflecting these concerns. However, a possible delay in tariffs could limit the price decline.
