Chipmaker Nvidia has become the first public company in history to reach a market value of $4 trillion, thanks to increased demand for artificial intelligence technologies. Its shares rose 2.4%, and the company tripled its share value in just one year. Nvidia, which first hit $1 trillion in June 2023, is considered a leader in the field alongside Microsoft. Although it faces export restrictions in China, optimism in the market continues to spur growth. Analyst Daniel Ives expects other tech giants to reach this market cap.
