Nuclearelectrica has reported a net profit of 866.6 million lei for the first half of 2025, up 2.8% year-on-year, despite a 0.5% decrease in operating profit (EBITDA). Operating revenues increased by 29.7% to RON 2.74 billion, driven by a 23.1% increase in the weighted average electricity price. The expenses for the contribution to the energy transition fund increased significantly, influencing total costs. Electricity production amounted to 5,128,340 MWh and sales revenues increased by 30.1% compared to 2024. SNN proposes an investment program of RON 3.43 billion for 2025, focused on modernization and efficiency.
