Nuclearelectrica recorded a net profit of 1.62 billion lei in the first nine months of 2025, 26.6% more than in 2024, against the backdrop of increased revenues from electricity sales.

Nuclearelectrica reported a net profit of 1.62 billion lei in the first nine months of 2025, an increase of 26.6% compared to the same period in 2024. Operating revenues increased by 22.9%, reaching 4.17 billion lei, due to a 23.9% increase in electricity sales revenues, influenced by a 19.1% increase in the weighted average price.

Electricity production increased by 1%, reaching 7,383 GWh. Nuclearelectrica has an investment program of 3.43 billion lei for 2025, aimed at strategic projects. In the context of rising energy prices, Hidroelectrica remains a competitive supplier, with average rates of 1.07 lei/kWh for Bucharest.
