Norofert S.A. opens a fertilizer production line in Brazil, the new facility is set to have a capacity of 15,000 liters per day.

Norofert S.A. has announced the launch of the production line for fertilizers Norofert Brasil LTDA in Chapeco, Brazil, according to a statement sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The project, started in August 2023, was carried out in partnership with the Engenutri Group, with an investment of 500,000 euros. The new facility will have a capacity of 15,000 liters per day and will use bacteria from the research laboratory in Romania. The Chairman of the Board, Vlad Popescu, emphasized the importance of this step for the internationalization of the Norofert business model and the opportunities offered by the agricultural market in Brazil. In the first phase, 16 products adapted for local crops such as corn, soy, and coffee have been approved. This initiative reflects Norofert's commitment to becoming an ambassador of Romanian innovation in agriculture.
