Deputy Prime Minister Dragoș Anastasiu announced that the losses of public enterprises in Romania amount to 2.5 billion lei, with seven companies generating two billion lei, even after receiving subsidies. Of the 1,326 companies monitored, 315 contribute significantly to national turnover. The government is preparing reforms to make these companies more efficient, including reducing subsidies, increasing revenues and improving services, in the context of the commitments in the PNRR.
