Lockheed Martin reported a loss of $1.6 billion in the second quarter, causing an 80% drop in profit, with the majority of the loss coming from a classified program in its Aeronautics division. The company revised its 2025 operating profit estimate down $1.5 billion to $6.65 billion. Shares fell more than 8% in reaction to the financial results. Lockheed Martin has announced progress on the F-35 program, recently delivering 72 planes.
