The EU accepts reciprocal tariffs of 10% on goods exported to the US, although negotiations for a lower level continue.

European officials are increasingly convinced that any trade deal with the US will include 10% tariffs on exported goods. Although EU negotiators are demanding lower tariffs, difficulties have increased amid US revenue from tariffs. The EU does not publicly accept double-digit tariffs, but faces pressure given the potential economic impact. Failure to reach an agreement could significantly affect the European market, but some industries believe 10% tariffs are manageable.
