Ilie Bolojan, the Prime Minister of Romania, and Radu Miruță, the interim Minister of Transport, had a meeting with entrepreneur Dorinel Umbrărescu, aimed at expediting work on road and rail infrastructure. The discussions focused on the need to avoid losing European funds from the PNRR, emphasizing that Romania needs "air-like" infrastructure.

Miruță stated that, regardless of the political situation, objectives must be met for the well-being of citizens. On the A7 Highway, the contractor UMB Spedition is working intensively, with over 600 workers mobilized on the Bacau – Pașcani section. The physical progress of the project has exceeded 40% on the Focșani – Bacau section, and the authorities are proposing to make quick decisions to ensure the completion of the works.
