The general mayor of the Capital, Ciprian Ciucu, stated that the Municipality of Bucharest (PMB) is facing a total debt of 3 billion lei to the subordinate companies, including STB and Termoenergetica. He emphasized that STB risks forced execution by ANAF due to the accumulation of debts, which amount to 1.5 billion lei. Ciucu explained that the Capital's budget is affected by structural problems and that the Municipality has difficulties in paying the necessary subsidies.

He also mentioned that, every month, PMB has to pay 100 million lei to ANAF, and the financial situation is similar to that encountered by his predecessor, Nicușor Dan. Ciprian Ciucu avoided blaming anyone for this situation, emphasizing that both he and Dan inherited serious financial problems.
