According to ANAF, starting from August 1, 2025, individuals who earn income can opt for CASS payment for their spouse, partner, and parents without income, owing 2,430 lei for each. CASS is calculated based on 6 minimum gross salaries, and payment is made in two installments. The unique declaration for opting in is submitted electronically or in printed format. ANAF provides assistance for taxpayers and additional information is available on their website.
