The BET index of the local stock exchange closed the Tuesday session with a decrease of 1.51%, marking the second day of correction after a decrease of 1.87% on Monday, the largest in the last 7 weeks. This volatility was generated by the withdrawal of political support for Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan by the PSD. Although BET started the day with a decrease of 2.3%, it had a recovery in the second part of the day. The total value of transactions was 121.7 million lei, with Banca Transilvania (TLV) in the first position, recording a decrease of 1.87%. On the bond market, the yield on Romanian bonds maturing in 10 years increased slightly to 7.21%. The euro/leu exchange rate remained stable, despite the previously felt depreciation pressures. Analysts note an increase in the volume of transactions on the foreign exchange market, with most transactions carried out on Friday.
