Oil prices hit their highest levels in two weeks, at $70.46 for Brent and $68.68 for WTI, thanks to an upbeat economic outlook in the US and increased demand for refined products. Although OPEC+ has decided to increase production, robust US demand, especially for diesel and gasoline, is supporting the market. Low US production estimates and perceived inflation stability contribute to this advance.
