Mayor Fabrice Cumps stated that the building's owner has obtained a building permit for a 26-story tower, but does not have the necessary funds to start the work.

The occupants, mostly Romanian citizens, could be evicted soon, as the mayor is preparing a decree in this regard. Cumps mentioned that the eviction is motivated by risks to public order, and the occupants have been summoned to present their testimonies.
