The National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management (INHGA) has issued a yellow flood warning, valid until Saturday afternoon, for rivers in 11 counties.

Between February 20, 12:00 PM - February 21, 12:00 PM, significant runoff is expected on slopes, torrents, and streams, as well as rapid floods and increases in flow rates on rivers in the hydrographic basins in areas such as Caraș-Severin, Mehedinți, Dolj, Gorj, Olt, Teleorman, Argeș, Dâmbovița, Giurgiu, and Constanța. Authorities recommend that the population avoid traveling near watercourses and follow the guidelines of emergency management structures to limit the possible effects of these hydrological phenomena.
