The ANM has issued warnings of snow and blizzards, valid until Tuesday morning, with significant snow accumulations in several regions.

The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued yellow and orange snow warnings, valid until Tuesday morning, with specifications for different areas of the country. Between January 4-5, snow is expected in Banat, Transylvania, Oltenia, and the Carpathians, with accumulations of 15-25 l/m² and a snow layer of 10-25 cm. In the mountains, the wind will intensify to 50-70 km/h, and at high altitudes, to 70-85 km/h, blowing the snow and reducing visibility.

Additionally, in the counties of Caraș-Severin, Mehedinți, Gorj, and Hunedoara, an orange warning will be established, where snowfall will be abundant, with a snow layer of 25-30 cm and gusts of wind of 80-90 km/h. Between January 4 and 6, a warning for moderate precipitation will be maintained, with a consistent snow layer in the mountains (20-50 cm) and the formation of ice in low areas. Mixed precipitation will affect Banat, Oltenia, and Muntenia, with intensifications of the wind, especially at high altitudes.
