After the heavy snowfall on Wednesday, the weather will warm up slightly in the following days, but a new wave of cold air is forecasted for the weekend, with minimum temperatures that could drop below -15 degrees in Moldova and -5 degrees in Bucharest.

The Orange Code warning for snowfall has been extended for Ilfov and Bucharest, where a snow layer of over 50 cm is expected. Additionally, other counties in the southeast of the country are under Orange Code for snow accumulation and blizzards. Although temperatures will rise slightly on Thursday and Friday, a new wave of frost will bring cold weather again at the end of the week.
