The warning has been issued by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), which warned that the geomagnetic storm could be a G4 class. Such storms can disrupt power grids, alter the trajectory of satellites and interfere with GPS navigation systems. Auroras could also become visible at lower latitudes than usual.
