Until Saturday morning, the weather will be particularly cold in Romania, with heavy rain and blizzard-like snow in the mountainous areas.

The counties of Olt and Dolj are under a red code for torrential rains, with accumulations of water that can reach up to 110 liters per square meter. Other counties are facing orange and yellow code warnings. The wind will blow intensely in the south and east of the country, reaching gusts of 70–90 km/h. In the mountainous area, the snowfall will lead to the formation of consistent layers of snow.
