Two children, a 12-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl, were found dead in the Tăcuta reservoir, Vaslui County, after drowning. The two, who were most likely siblings, were part of a group of carolers who attempted to cross the reservoir on ice, which broke under their weight. The call to 112 was made at 5:35 PM, and the authorities quickly launched search and rescue operations, involving the Vaslui Detachment and ten soldiers. The children's parents stated that they had not seen them since 3:15 PM, and the search tragically ended with the discovery of the lifeless bodies.
