The National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR) has declared that transport has returned to normal after the recent snowfall and blizzards. Currently, there are no road sections closed or restricted due to weather conditions. Between February 21 and 22, 2026, CNAIR intervened with 1,098 machines, spreading 5,188.8 tons of anti-skid material.

Authorities recommend drivers to inform themselves about weather conditions and to adjust their speed according to the state of the road. Also, at the airports in Bucharest, air traffic is operating according to schedule, without canceled flights or delays, with 58 machines ensuring optimal operating conditions.
