The Infotrafic Center of the Romanian Police has announced that, due to adverse weather conditions, road traffic is completely halted on the section of the A7 highway Ploiești - Adjud. The National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration has imposed traffic restrictions for heavy vehicles on the A0 Highway, where the circulation of vehicles with a maximum authorized total weight (MTMA) greater than 7.5 tons is prohibited on the section between km 52+000 and km 75+000. These measures are necessary due to the strong blizzard and heavy snowfall. The police recommend that drivers avoid traveling in the area, stay informed about road conditions, and use vehicles properly equipped for winter. It is also important to adjust speed to road conditions and to follow the instructions of traffic police.
