These individuals were apprehended following the discovery of a counterfeit money factory in the town of Burla, Suceava County. They, along with an Italian citizen, are suspected of having printed approximately 2 million euros, most of which was distributed in Bulgaria. The criminal group, led by a 41-year-old man, is believed to have operated in the territories of Romania and Bulgaria, aiming to counterfeit currency and circulate counterfeit foreign values. Following the searches, authorities confiscated 1,281,400 euros in counterfeit money, printing equipment, and other materials necessary for producing banknotes. On Wednesday, a proposal will be made for the preventive arrest of those apprehended for 30 days.
