RetuRO, the administrator of the Return Guarantee System, reports significant progress in the period from January to August 2025, with 3.6 billion packages returned. Only in August, 605 million packages were collected, achieving a collection rate of 94% of the amount placed on the market. Since the beginning of the system in November 2023, nearly 7 billion packages have been returned, thus supporting Romania's transition to a circular economy.
