The U.S. Embassy in Bucharest has announced that, due to a lack of allocated funds, the Facebook page will no longer be updated until activities resume, except for urgent security-related messages. Passport and visa services will continue to operate within the limits of possibilities, and for updated information, citizens are encouraged to visit travel.state.gov. The financial blockage was caused by the rejection of a bill in the U.S. Senate.
