Cristian Pistol, the head of CNAIR, stated that this year it will be possible to travel on the A7 highway from Bucharest to Adjud, if the current work pace continues.

Works on section 2 of the Focșani-Bacău Highway, between Domnești Târg and Adjud, have exceeded 90% of the physical progress. UMB Spedition is focused on completing the waterproofing works at the overpass in Domnești Târg and at the bridge over the Trotuș River. The contract for this section of 38.78 km has a value of 2.48 billion lei, with funding provided through the PNRR. If weather conditions permit, traffic will be opened on A7 up to Adjud, and next year it will be possible to drive on the highway from Bucharest to Pașcani.
