Through a decision adopted on September 11, the Government of Romania decided to purchase a Frontex aircraft for 163.7 million lei, aimed at improving the surveillance of external borders. This acquisition will support the activities of the Border Police in combating illegal migration and cross-border crime. The contribution of the European Union covers 90% of the costs, with the remainder being borne by Romania, thus strengthening national security and European stability.
