The police discovers air guns and projectiles at Cluj-Napoca Airport

Border police and customs inspectors at Cluj-Napoca Airport conducted checks on packages in the Cargo area, discovering two air guns and 400 projectiles, 200 in each box. The package originated from the Czech Republic and was intended for an individual in Romania.

The checks revealed that the package did not have the necessary documents for the introduction, acquisition, and possession of the weapons, which is why the goods were seized. The police have opened a criminal case for non-compliance with the weapons and ammunition regime, according to current legislation.

The authorities continue investigations to establish the exact circumstances of the incident.
