Prime Minister Bolojan stated that pensions in the judiciary will remain limited to 70% of the last net salary, highlighting three essential reasons for this decision. Firstly, the respect for the 28-day deadline, crucial for accessing European funds.

The second reason concerns correcting the perception of Romanians regarding the retirement age, which is considered unfair, given that many retire at 48-50 years old and receive pensions equivalent to their last salary. Lastly, Bolojan emphasized the importance of a healthy economy and a sustainable pension system in the long term. He expressed hope that all those involved will act responsibly to ensure the procedure is carried out under normal conditions.
