The MOBEX exercise mobilizes the reserves from Alba and Hunedoara

The MOBEX Alba-Hunedoara 2026 mobilization exercise will take place between May 11 and 15, according to the announcement made by Colonel Mihai Bălățătescu, the director of the exercise. Its purpose is to verify the state of preparedness of the population for defense, in accordance with Law 355/2009 and Law 446/2006.

The exercise will occur simultaneously in the counties of Alba and Hunedoara, as part of a national plan approved by the Supreme Council of National Defense. Mihai Bălățătescu emphasized that operational reservists, defined as those included in the mobilization plan, will participate in the exercise, and at the national level, there are 4,700 such reservists.

Additionally, two other mobilization exercises are planned for this year, one in September in the counties of Neamț, Suceava, and Botoșani, and another in October, in Bucharest.
