The new terminal of Mihail Kogălniceanu Airport has been inaugurated. Investment of over 300 million lei and controversies at the event.

On Tuesday, the inauguration of the new passenger terminal at Mihail Kogălniceanu International Airport in Constanța took place, a project worth over 300 million lei, funded with European funds.

The financing contract was signed 3 years ago. The event was attended by local personalities, including the mayor and the president of the Constanța County Council, former Minister of Transport Lucian Bode, and Florin Goidea, former head of the Port of Constanța. Additionally, influencer Selly, known for organizing the Beach, Please! festival in Costinești, was present. Among the guests were also former mayor Decebal Făgădău, and for the Archbishop of Tomis, Teodosie, the organizers prepared a special chair, different from those of the other guests.
