The heroic forest ranger from Mureș, rewarded for saving two minors

Aurel Frandeș, a forest ranger within the Luduș Forestry District, was rewarded by the National Forest Administration (RNP) - Romsilva for the rescue of two missing minors in the Târnăveni area, Mureș County. He was awarded on April 1 by the general director of RNP, Jean Vișan, who presented him with a certificate of appreciation and a monetary reward.

Frandeș found the girls, who had been missing for nearly 36 hours, at the edge of a forest and transported them over a distance of three kilometers, under difficult conditions, to a police crew. The director of Romsilva emphasized the importance of the intervention of forest rangers in local communities, highlighting that they are familiar with the terrain and often act in critical situations to save lives.

Aurel Frandeș stated that he is proud of his achievement and that no effort is too great when it comes to saving children.
