In the first half of 2025, the Guaranteed Return Guarantee Scheme (GRGS) made significant progress, with 2.4 billion packages returned and 176,000 tons delivered to recycling. Collection rates reached 79%, reinforcing the RGS as an effective environmental program. RetuRO, SGR's administrator, operates on a not-for-profit model, reinvesting the surplus into program optimization. This system supports Romania in reaching European recycling targets and promotes responsible behavior among citizens.
