The second fiscal package, promised by the Government, has been divided into five components, including measures for taxation, local administration, corporate governance, health, and special pensions. Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan emphasized that, in the event that the measures are rejected by the Constitutional Court, the Government could lose its legitimacy. Among the proposed measures are the reduction of positions at the local level and an increase in local taxes by 70%. The package will be submitted for approval and, subsequently, the Government will take responsibility in Parliament.
