In the meeting on Thursday, the Government decided to allocate a 5-room apartment, with an area of 282 square meters, as a protocol residence for the president of the High Court of Cassation and Justice (ÎCCJ), Lia Savonea. The property is located on Constantin Prezan Street, near the Arch of Triumph and Herăstrău Park, and is managed by RAAPPS.

The apartment has an inventory value of 3,775,000 lei. Lia Savonea stated that her request was made according to legal procedures, emphasizing that the approval belongs exclusively to the Government. According to Ordinance 19/2002, protocol residences can be granted to the President of Romania, the presidents of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies, the Prime Minister, as well as other high-ranking officials. Maintenance costs will be covered by RAAPPS funds.
