Once he reached the lake, he became stuck in mud and branches, making it impossible for him to get out. The gendarmes intervened quickly, descending to the area of the lake and managing to pull him to shore. After the rescue, the man showed signs of hypothermia and was transported to the Emergency Reception Unit in Craiova for medical care.
