The former SIF Oltenia, which controls the oil producer Argus, has initiated an agreement with the Bulgarian company Buildcom EOOD for a possible transfer of its shares. Buildcom EOOD is associated with Oliva AD, a major Bulgarian sunflower oil producer. It trades various agricultural products and owns several factories in Bulgaria. The transaction is currently under analysis by the Competition Council. Argus S.A. Constanța is engaged in the production and marketing of sunflower oils and fats.
