The Digital Platform Workers Union (SLPD) is the first trade union in Romania dedicated to workers from applications such as Uber and Glovo. It will have branches in all counties, being open to both Romanian citizens and foreigners. SLPD offers social protection, clarifies the legal status of workers, and promotes fair tax regulations. Additionally, the union will support the interests of its members in social dialogue and will launch a study on work on digital platforms.
