The preventive evacuation operations of the population from the localities of Ceatalchior and Plauru in Tulcea County, triggered because a ship full of LPG was hit by a drone on the Ukrainian bank of the Danube and caught fire, posing an explosion risk, have been concluded, announced representatives of the Tulcea Emergency Situations Inspectorate.

"In total, 180 people self-evacuated, and 66 people were safely evacuated by the intervention teams. Among them: 51 people from the locality of Ceatalchioi, 15 people from the locality of Plauru. One person with mobility issues received medical assistance and was transported to a medical unit for specialized care," the firefighters specified.
