The Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) will undergo a massive reorganization process, according to Law 145/2025, which will lead to the elimination of approximately 80 positions, including the dismissal of 39 employees. This aligns with the second reform package of the Bolojan Government, which also includes a 30% reduction in base salaries, estimating a decrease in salary expenses by 46 million lei annually.

ASF warns that these measures will affect the institution's ability to fulfill its legal obligations, in the context of expanding its competencies. Additionally, ASF has had staff reductions in the recent period, which has led to a shortage of specialists. The president of ASF, Alexandru Petrescu, confirmed that positions will be eliminated and that there will be a competitive selection procedure for employees.
