The National Meteorological Administration has announced exceptionally cold weather in Romania, with heavy rains and blizzard-like snow in the mountainous areas, from October 2 to 4. Temperatures will range between 7 and 17 degrees, while precipitation will exceed 70 l/m² in the southern regions. Wind gusts will reach 70-85 km/h in certain areas. The orange and yellow alerts target significant rainfall and snow at high altitudes, with snow accumulations of up to 40 cm in the mountainous areas.
