The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued a notice regarding strong winds, rain, and snow in the mountainous areas, valid until Monday at 10:00 AM.

Starting Friday, the rains will extend from the southwest, gradually covering all regions of the country. Meteorologists warn that, temporarily, the wind will intensify, with speeds of 45-55 km/h in most regions, and in the mountains, gusts will exceed 70-80 km/h.

Starting Friday, at altitudes above 1700 m, especially in the Southern Carpathians, snow and significant snow accumulations are expected.

The amounts of water will be moderate, between 20-25 l/m², and locally over 35 l/m², especially in the south and southwest of the country, as well as in the mountainous and submontane areas.
