The protest is organized by the Federation of Free Trade Unions in Education and other organizations, with the support of students and pupils. The unions contest the government measures to increase the teaching norm, merge school units, and reduce scholarships, arguing that these affect the quality of education. The protesters will picket the Government headquarters and will march towards the Cotroceni Palace, where President Nicușor Dan will have a meeting with their representatives.
