Metrorex is offering pupils and students free travel passes until 2025 and they will not need to be reloaded.

Students get free metro transportation until 2025, according to Education Law 198/2023. Metrorex has also introduced an online platform for reloading contactless cards, but this is not yet available for pupils and students. Free passes can be picked up at the busiest metro stations in the capital.
