Almost 100 journalists and members of civil society using WhatsApp have been targeted by spyware owned by Paragon Solutions.

WhatsApp has warned journalists and members of civil society about possible cyber attacks, saying it had disrupted an espionage campaign by Paragon. The attacks targeted a number of users and were delivered via a PDF file sent in chat groups.
