The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) reported that snow and blizzards have affected 67 localities in 21 counties and the municipality of Bucharest.

As of Wednesday morning, 29 vehicles stuck in snow have been cleared, and 176 trees and 6 electricity poles have been removed. Road traffic is halted on two highways and four national roads due to severe weather conditions, and 13 flights have been affected. Trains in the capital are delayed by approximately one hour, and naval maneuvers are suspended in the ports of Constanța. Additionally, power supply outages have been recorded in 21 localities across five counties.

Train traffic is severely affected on Wednesday morning, with 20 services suspended and delays of up to five hours at the North Station. IGSU recommends avoiding unnecessary travel and adapting to road conditions.
