On Monday morning, dozens of trains recorded significant delays, affecting both international and domestic routes. The longest delay was for the international train 79 Budapest – Craiova – Bucharest, which arrived three hours and four minutes late at Gara de Nord.

Other trains, such as IR 401 from Kiev and Chișinău, had delays of two hours. Trains on domestic routes, such as Softrans Brașov – Bucharest and Transferoviar Ploiești – Bucharest, experienced delays of 60-80 minutes. The delays were significant on the Bucharest – Pitești route, where some trains accumulated up to 100 minutes. At Gara de Nord, trains to Buzău, Brașov, and Constanța departed with delays of 30-40 minutes, thus affecting the schedule of travelers.
