The "Sf. Pantelimon" County Emergency Hospital in Focșani has been severely affected due to the heavy rains in recent days, reporting significant damages.
According to a report published by the Vrancea Prefecture on June 9, the floods have damaged approximately 1,400 square meters of walls in the basement and 600 square meters of the operating room's roof. Additionally, the food block, laundry, and several storage rooms for sanitary materials have been affected, with floor degradation over 1,000 square meters. Medications and medical supplies have been destroyed due to moisture. Infiltrations have been reported in the operating room, and there have been sewage backflows in the food block. The report details the precarious condition of several areas, including the storage rooms for sanitary materials and the unit's archive, highlighting the severe impact of the floods on the hospital's operations.
